Payments

Card and PayPal account data are processed by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. as an independent controller, under its own privacy notice: we never see or store your card number. For bank transfers we see the details that appear on the incoming payment.

Who we share data with

Only with those we need to run the shop, under a contract that obliges them to protect the data (data processors) or as independent controllers:

  • website and email hosting, site protection and speed;
  • payments (PayPal, our bank for transfers) and anti-fraud checks on PayPal and card payments;
  • shipping (the shipping platform and the carrier you choose: name, address, phone and email for delivery);
  • sending the shop's emails and the newsletter (our email provider);
  • our accountant and advisers, for tax obligations; authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union: in that case the transfer is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its use, receive it in a machine-readable format (portability) and object to its use based on legitimate interest; you can withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting what was done before (arts. 15–22 GDPR). Write to [email protected]: we reply within one month. If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you can lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (the Italian Data Protection Authority).
